Oregon Coast Microbrewery Cleans Up at Australian Awards

(Pacific City, Oregon) - The seminal north Oregon coast landmark Pelican Pub and Brewery took 10 prizes in the 2007 Australian International Beer Awards recently: a complete sweep for the brewery after submitting 10 of their finest beers for this year’s competition. The awards were presented April 19, 2007 at an awards dinner, attended by over 500 guests, in Melbourne, Australia.

Over 900 beers were tasted at Australia ’s premier beer competition, which was started in 1987 to reward excellence in the field of brewing and to assist in the promotion of the brewing industry.
