Spring Movie Season: March 2011

filmreel

Spring is almost upon us! So what films can we expect for the month of March? The month kicks off with Matt Damon and Emily Blunt starring in “The Adjustment Bureau”. Also opening the first weekend of March are “Rango” starring Johnny Depp, a modern day twist on the classic story of Beauty and the Beast is “Beastly” starring “I am Number Four” star Alex Pettyfer and Vanessa Hudgens.

Mia Wasikowska and Michael Fassbender star in the new adaptation of Charlotte Brontë’s “Jane Eyre”, Los Angeles is under attack in “Battle: Los Angeles”, and “Twilight” director Catherine Hardwicke moves on from Vampires and embraces Wolves in “Red Riding Hood”.

Mid month Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro star in “Limitless” that asks “What if there weren’t boundaries?”. Toward the end of the month, Ashley Greene (“Twilight”) stars in “Skateland”.

My spotlight pick of the month is Win Win starring Academy Award nominee Paul Giamatti. This film was an official selection for the 2011 Sundance Film Festival. A feel good film for Spring.
