For the show, “Reminiscing”, I’ve decided to refocus the piece and give it a new name, “Identitee”. From the feedback received, it seemed that the piece was slow in pace, and not interesting. I think the time of the show, around five minutes, didn’t help to speed the pace up either. For the edited piece, I’ve decided to focus on only one brother, instead of the two. While I really like the idea of t-shirts being a subtle yet important connection between the two brothers, I think that technical issues overshadowed what I was trying to do. In “Identitee,” the title of the edited version (which may be a bit corny, I know) I’ve constructed a story of how t-shirts play a part in who we are. I think “Identitee” flows better, and hopefully works better than the first version.
