This Friday, Despicable Me will kick off the Movies in the Park program in Village Park. As part of the 2011 Waste Management Summer Entertainment Series, the Parks & Recreation Department is showing fun, family friendly movies every other Friday from June to August at 8:45pm. Bring a picnic dinner, blanket, or chair and enjoy the movie on the big screen!

Friday, July 8 – Mega Mind (PG)
Friday, July 22 – The Blind Side (PG-13)
Friday, August 5 – Night at the Museum (PG)
Friday, August 19 – Tangled (PG)
And don’t forget to come out to tomorrow’s Thursdays on Main lunchtime concert series. From 11:30-1:00, Movin’ on Bluegrass will be playing under the shade!! at Veterans Park. Old Stone Vino will be providing food for sale, or you can bring your own lunch.
